I do not know if you can install both ffmpeg 3 and 4 without issues. I tried installing the Jitsi Messenger using their repository (same for Meet) as I have done many times before, and it would not install in my KDE Neon like Linux Mint 20 because of ffmpeg 3 dependencies. There are at least 2 Jitsi applications Jitsi Meet video conferencing and Jitsi Desktop multi-media multi-account Messenger and various ways to install them. +1 for using Moem's link to a Jitsi Meet AppImage which works on my Linux Mint Cinnamon 20 and KDE Neon both based on Ubuntu 20.04 Focal.Ĭertain software installed through the software manager using flatpaks may need to install supporting flatpak dependencies which can be used by other software installed as flatpaks, thus the large size of the first installed flatpak software.
